Oncotarget "(ISSN: 1949-2553) is an oncology journal founded in 2010, published by Impact Journals under the open access (OA) publishing model. From its inception to 2017, Oncotarget has rapidly developed into a rising star.
According to the search results in the Web of Science Core Collection, a total of 74 Articles (original research) and Reviews (reviews) were published in Oncotarget in 2010. Since 2014, there has been a large-scale expansion, as if in vitro cultured cells have entered the logarithmic growth phase. By 2017, the number of Articles and Reviews published had reached 9219 (Figure 1). While expanding rapidly, the citation index of Oncotarget performed well, with only a slight decrease in the impact factor.

《Oncotarget》(ISSN:1949-2553)是一本2010年创刊的肿瘤学期刊，出版商是Impact Journals，出版模式为开放获取(open access，OA)。从创刊到2017年，《Oncotarget》通过高速的发展成为了一颗冉冉升起的新星。

在Web of Science核心合集进行检索的结果显示，2010年《Oncotarget》发表的Article(原始研究)和Review(综述)总计74篇，2014年开始大规模扩刊，好像体外培养的细胞进入了对数生长期 ，到2017年，发表Article和Review的数量达到了9219篇(图1)。在快速扩刊的同时，《Oncotarget》的引文指标表现良好，影响因子仅有小幅下降。
